The static composting facility is a modular concrete pad with tanks for storing compostable waste. The accelerated composting process involves forced aeration, controlled oxygen levels, and full monitoring of all necessary parameters using sensors and specialized software.
ABONO® static modular membrane composting system for accelerated waste composting:
ТBО / ТКО
manure
food waste
sludge sediments of wastewater treatment plant
brewer's grains
bards
organic waste of plant and animal origin
and other organic waste
Advantages of the ABONO® static composting system:
Low construction and operating costs
The piles are protected from adverse weather conditions
Automated system for creating a microclimate inside the stacks
Full control over key indicators
The covering material can be easily fixed
The covering material will not freeze to the ground
The modular system allows composting from 1 to 500,000 tons of organic waste at a time
A mobile coating unwinding unit allows for one-person operations
This technology reduces harmful gas and odor emissions because the piles containing the composted material are covered with a membrane.
The membrane for static composting consists of two main layers, resistant to UV radiation and moisture, and a semipermeable membrane. The membrane safely protects the composted material from weather conditions and rainwater. The inner membrane traps odors, dust, germs, and bacteria, but is permeable to air and moisture. An air supply system generates a microclimate beneath the membrane, creating the environment necessary for microorganisms to decompose organic waste into compost. The pile is covered using mobile or static unwinding units. The static unwinding unit moves along a rail attached to the rear wall from pile to pile. The membrane is unwound using a spinning unit. Alternatively, static unwinding units are used for each module. The mobile unrolling cover unit allows operations to be performed directly on the machine or by remote control. These machines can open and cover piles up to 4 m high and up to 8 m wide. Specifications of the mobile unrolling cover unit: - width up to 16 m - depth up to 5 m - height up to 7 m - maximum pile length for covering 100 m - hydraulic drive - remote control capability ABONO LLC assists in the development of composting technology, designs and manufactures equipment and complex process lines, plants and sites for MSW/TDS composting using all the Best Available Technologies for composting available worldwide, including aerobic composting technologies in piles, biotunnels, bioreactors, biodrums, and composting in open and closed areas. According to the level of process automation, ABONO® systems are divided into mechanized and fully automated. In addition to technologies for accelerated composting of organic fractions, technologies for stabilizing biological and organic waste, as well as bio-drying, are also used.
