Composting of bird droppings in the amount of 200 tons/day.
The client was tasked with composting 200 tons of litterless poultry manure per day.
As a solution to this problem, a mechanical-biological waste treatment plant (MBWT) for poultry manure was proposed.
The MBWT plant is a system of technical resources (equipment and machinery, instrumentation, and automation) necessary for the effective disposal of the above-described organic waste with a specified degree of automation and control.
To compost poultry manure in such volumes, it was decided to use an ABONO 16.36 pile turner with a pile moistening system, as well as an ABONO radio-controlled hose conveyor to supply water to the poultry manure composting area.
The MPBO plant line consists of one zone:
Composting phase zone – For active composting, it is recommended to use ABONO self-propelled windrowers, which process material formed into triangular windrows. Bird droppings arriving at the site have a high moisture content, making it difficult to form into a high windrow. To achieve this, they must be mixed with filler in a 1:1 ratio to create favorable conditions for accelerated composting. During active composting, the temperature in the windrows reaches its peak. Therefore, during the active composting phase, the ideal solution is to form the material into triangular windrows using a loader and then process it with an ABONO 16.36 self-propelled windrower. To maintain optimal conditions for composting, an ABONO radio-controlled hose conveyor is used to supply water. The average processing time during active composting is 42 days. During this period, the manure loses up to 40% of its volume, its moisture content decreases, and it turns into ready-made compost, which can be used for personal needs or further sale.
